Join us for an unforgettable culinary experience at Dry Hill, where great food, hands-on learning, and a relaxed atmosphere come together. Our Demo Cooking Class is designed for food lovers of all skill levels—whether you’re just getting started or looking to sharpen your techniques.

Guests are welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine to sip and savor as the experience begins. From there, our chef will guide you through essential knife skills and knife safety, helping you build confidence in the kitchen with practical, easy-to-apply techniques.

You’ll then enjoy a live, step-by-step cooking demonstration featuring thoughtfully selected seasonal recipes. Along the way, you’ll pick up tips, tricks, and insider knowledge to elevate your home cooking. Each guest will leave with a collection of recipes to take home, so you can recreate the experience for friends and family.

To finish, gather around the table and enjoy an al fresco, family-style meal (weather permitting), featuring the dishes prepared during the class. It’s a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy incredible food in a warm, welcoming setting—true to the spirit of Dry Hill.

What is a Demonstration Cooking Class?

Our Demo Cooking Class is a relaxed, interactive culinary experience where guests watch a chef prepare recipes step-by-step while learning techniques, tips, and kitchen skills—without the pressure of doing all the cooking yourself.


What’s included in the class?

Each class includes:

  • A complimentary glass of wine
  • A lesson in knife skills and knife safety
  • A live cooking demonstration
  • Printed or digital recipes to take home
  • A shared family-style meal featuring the dishes prepared (al fresco, weather permitting)

Do I need any cooking experience?

Not at all! This class is designed for all skill levels, from beginners to more experienced home cooks.


Will I be cooking, or just watching?

This is primarily a demonstration-style class, but guests are encouraged to ask questions and may have light opportunities to participate if they’d like.


What should I bring?

Just yourself and a great attitude! Everything you need is provided. You may want to bring:

  • A light jacket for outdoor dining (weather dependent)

How long is the class?
