Shiftless Shuffle Dancefloor Jazz 25th Anniversary Party

This is our big one! 25 years deep and still moving!
From the early days at Messin' Around at the The Jazz Cafe, to dance floors across the world, Shiftless Shuffle has always been about the music, the dance and the community. What started as a vision to keep UK Dancefloor Jazz alive has grown into something truly special and we’re proud to still be here, still pushing forward.
For this milestone session, we welcome very special guest DJ Nicola Conte (Italy), bringing a rare vinyl-only DJ set. A renowned Producer, Composer, DJ and Guitarist, Nicola has kept the Jazz world guessing since 2000 by constantly moving the goal posts, with his DJ sets spanning ‘70s Soul, Rare Funk, Afro-Spiritual Jazz, Brazilian flavours and forward-thinking grooves. Alongside Nicola will be DJ Lorne Daley (UK). Lorne is a true lifer representing Jazz, Funk, Soul and Boogie since the 1970s, with deep crates, heavyweight selections and a serious dancefloor energy every time. And of course, the session is hosted by our very own DJ Perry Louis.
Expect to hear Dancefloor Jazz in all its glory, whether you come to dance, listen, party or hunt for some vinyl, courtesy of Hugh Albert!
As always, we’ll have Justjaq and Dave Rowland with us to document this extra special session, as well as our merchandise stall.
This is more than a party. This is 25 years of music, movement and culture. Still moving. Still grooving. Still shiffling and shuffling.
