About this Event
Shamanic Breathwork: The Power of Love
Love brings light to the darkness.
Love is greater than our fears.
Love heals and restores.
You have love with you.
When we remove our resistance and defenses against love, it can shine through and bring its light to our lives, to oursleves and community.
Shamanic Breathwork is a method of accessing our inner love and removing the barriers to giving and receiving love. We call this a "workshop" because we will do deep work. The invitation is to open to love in safe community, and where we are able, to send this love out into the world for healing and peace. And to be open to transformation and healing.
You are loved, loving, and lovable. Breathe into where that is true.
Through the breath and chakra-attuned music, you'll journey deep within yourself to find and love the defences and resistane to love for yourself and others. This form of breathwork, when done in a safe and protective container, takes you into an altered state where you can access your inner guidance and your innate healing mechanisms. We will share intentions, teach the breathing technique, "breathe until we are surprised", and integrate our journeys through sharing our journeys and art.
The event will include:
- Gathering in a circle with others who want to do their inner work. The group size is typically 8-15 people breathing. A maximum of fifteen seats will be available for this workshop.
- Guidance and support from trained shamanic practitioners, Diamondheart (Jay Hoeffer) and Grounding Rock (Brian Thoman)
- Grounding, group agreements, and container building to create a safe space for sharing.
- Breathwork instruction and practice.
- Laying down and moving on a mat for about one hour during the breathwork while specially selected music plays and facilitators coach, encourage and, if permission is given, use bodywork to expand your experience
- Creating art to express your breathwork journey
- Sharing your experience with the group, and when permission is given, receive reflection, questions, and suggestions
- Closing the circle with tips for aftercare and resources for continued support
