In the heart of San Francisco’s annual Carnaval celebration — where color, rhythm, and cultural pride collide — we are proud to present a dynamic showcase featuring six extraordinary mural artists from the Bay Area. Against the backdrop of Carnaval San Francisco’s vibrant energy, this event is designed to bring together an engaged audience and a captivating multimedia presentation of the artists’ large-scale works that have transformed neighborhoods, schools, and public spaces across the region. By spotlighting these local talents, we create a living bridge between the walls they paint and the festival that celebrates the very spirit of artistic expression.Scheduled just before Carnaval Weekend, the event will take place at Carnaval HQ in the Mission. Admission is free, but please do let us know if you can attend, so we can better plan accordingly.
The mural artists who will be presenting are:
- Daniel Galvez: https://sfmoma.org/artist/Daniel_Galvez
- David Burke: https://dburke.org
- Elaine Chu & Marina Perez-Wong: https://twinwallsmuralcompany.com
- Poncho Pescador & Pablito Raiz: https://oaklandmurals.com/18443-2
One night. 6 incredible artists. An amazing opportunity to meet and ask questions of some of the people who have beautified the SF Bay Area with their incredible talents!
