Jumpstart your sewing journey with our new weekly Sewing Club! Join costumier and designer Lara Skowronska every Thursday evening for 6 weeks to get help with everything from personalised projects to machine use advice. Bring a project along or come and learn from scratch. Maybe you feel like you never have the time to sew at home, perhaps you don't have the space or maybe you're not confident and need a little bit of support, our sewing club can help! This is a great chance to meet up with other sewists every week and work on a project of your choice with expert help and support. Tutor Lara is a freelance Costume maker who counts Giffords Circus, Boomtown Festival, HBO and the BBC amongst her many clients, so you’ll be guided by the best - she’s endlessly encouraging and full of fun creative ideas.
All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring along anything special you may want to use, you are welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you’d like specific help with that.
If you have any specific ideas for the workshop please get in touch beforehand and we can advise. All materials will be provided but you will need to bring along an item to be upcycled, if you are completely stuck for a piece do get in touch prior to the class and we will sort something out.
