Come and learn how to make your own scrunchie using an old piece of clothing or fabric at our free drop in workshop with Loveday Weller.
This drop in workshop will guide your through how to make your own scrunchie. Bring some old material and upcycle it into your own new hair accessory!
Notes on what material to bring:
Fabric must measure: 20inch x 5 inch.
Fabric that is lightweight and “drape-y” (meaning not stiff) work the best so try to stick to those for best results. Fabrics like soft velour, thin flannel and light cotton in either a knitted or woven construction. So could be old shirts, pillow cases, tshirt fabric.
This event is hosted in our indepdent gift shop, which plays host to over 80 makers and designers, and she share a space with cafe bar, Little Louie, so come for a shop and a drink when you visit the workshop and support small businesses.
