Award winning filmmaker, Seemab Gul joins us for a special screening of her film Sandstorm (Mulakaat). The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival and is a story of a young woman and her struggle for freedom.
Seemab is a Pakistani filmmaker based in London and makes socio-political films on themes of migration, identity, patriarchy, culture and politics. She will be with us for a post screening conversation on female agency, online harassment and patriarchal constraints in a conservative society.
