About this Event
We use them every day, but what actually is a battery? Can you make a battery out of an orange, and how does a battery work actually work? Join Andrew from the Invention Rooms and Imperial Researchers team to find out!
Enter the world of electricity, where you’ll discover the tiny parts of our world that power batteries and learn how they work. You’ll then carry out experiments to discover which everyday objects can generate power! See what objects create the most power and then join together to create a giant super-battery in this hands-on workshop about electricity and chemistry!
This is a free science workshop for families with children aged 7 - 11 in the White City area. An adult must stay with children for the duration of the session.
