DisruptHR is back in DC for its first speaker event of 2026! Join local HR leaders for a night of insightful speeches and new connections.
About this Event

This is where open mic meets open minds and HR professionals, culture shifters, and bold thinkers share what's really on their mind

DisruptHR is a one-of-a-kind information exchange designed to energize, inform, and empower people of all backgrounds, and it is returning to DC proper at the National Union Building on Wednesday May 20th.

Over the last few years, hundreds of HR Leaders have gathered for a series of thought provoking DisruptHR events across the DMV. We are looking forward to bringing the DC HR Community together again in support of a new set of status quo-challenging speakers and their innovative ideas.

This is not your average "thought leadership panel" or Q&A event. This will not even be solely dedicated to HR. But what it will be is a series of DisruptHR presentations (5 minutes each with slides shifting every 15 seconds. No exceptions!) by a diverse collection of HR professionals, C-suiters, community leaders, and many more who have been waiting to share perspectives that will benefit all of us.

All attendees will walk away with not just new ideas and satisfied appetites, but with new connections and friends via DisruptHR DC that will help all of us shape our community and workplaces for the better.
