Embark on an abridged version of The Nutcracker, the magical holiday tradition following Clara’s journey to defeat the Mouse King with the brave Nutcracker prince, travel through the snowy enchanted forest, and meet the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Kingdom of Sweets. Featuring returning favorites the Virginia Ballet Company & School!
Time and Place
This performance will take place at 10am on Saturday, December 13th in the Helen Hayes Gallery of The National Theatre, located at 1321 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20004. Children will be encouraged to sit on rainbow mats on the floor and parents to sit in chairs behind.
Tickets and Donations
Registration is FREE but donations are welcome. In the event of a sellout, please feel free to join the waitlist; we also accept walk-ups, pending the availability of space.
Audience
This performance is ideal for children ages 3-6 but all are welcome!
Accessibility
This performance will be ASL-interpreted. The space is wheelchair accessible.
