About this Event
We will be hosted by the wonderful upCycle LDN, a 10 minute walk from Brixton tube station, where Central Saint Martins student Tia Kumar will guide us through a variety of sashiko mending techniques and effects.
Alongside Tia, Taylor Hall, Common Threads facilitator will be leading one on one lessons on how to use a sewing machine - including threading up the machine and how to modify stitches based on materials and intentions.
Fabric and tools will all be provided but please feel free to bring along your own things as well!
Perfect for complete beginners - all skill levels welcome.
