About Sanctuary Sessions:
Join us for the Sanctuary Sessions Series; a free jazz jam session at Epiphany Center for the Arts hosted by Ricardo Jimenez. Whether you’re a seasoned player, a budding artist, or a jazz enthusiast looking to hear some tunes, we welcome any and all!

Music starts at 8pm

About Kenthaney Redmond:
“Kenthaney Redmond’s flute adds an acid folky touch ... setting up a spiritual state of mind.” - Shindig! Magazine. Kenthaney Redmond is a Chicago based flutist, and composer. He gained local recognition in the city with his band the Kenthaney Redmond Quintet. The group was formed with the idea of exploring the intersection between rock and jazz while also producing new and original compositions . The success of this group led to various performances around Chicago at notable venues including Navy Pier, The Chicago Jazz Fest, and Fulton Street Collective. The band features Marion Mallard on bass, Josh Ross on Drums, and Elio Wijaya on piano.
As a performer Redmond has played with several notable Chicago artists including Rene Avila, Micah Collier, and Sam Thousand. Additionally, he was recognized as a Luminarts Fellow in Jazz (2022.)

Stop by Epiphany for our live music series concerts, and be sure to hit Golden Hour before-hand for drinks and lite-bites! Doors open at 5pm Wednesday - Saturday for Golden Hour with 1/2 priced bottles of wine and other specials!
