About our speaker:
Speaker: Tom Fenoseff, Senior Director of Capital Planning & Construction, Anchorage School District
Tom has served in the position of the Senior Director of Capital Planning & Construction for the Anchorage School District since 2017. He leads a team of dedicated professionals that provide safe, sustainable, and flexible educational environments to over 43,000 students and covering almost eight million square feet of facilities. Prior to working for the Anchorage School District, Thomas served as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Some of his assignments include Deputy Chief of Staff for U.S. Army Alaska, Chief of Operations for Resolute Support Headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan, and Assistant Director of Civil Works at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Headquarters in Washington, D.C. He holds a master’s degree in engineering management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from the United States Military Academy. He is a SAME Fellow and active member of the Anchorage Post.
