Join us for a screening of “Shaped by Land,” which follows Adam Kjeldsen, one of the only Inuit ski guides in Greenland, as he navigates an industry largely controlled by foreign operators. The film follows his pursuit of a more sustainable approach to ski tourism—one grounded in a deep relationship with the land, and a commitment to community and cultural continuity. “Shaped by Land” centers Indigenous voices and lived relationships to land, offering a moving, visually stunning story about place, identity, and belonging.
The film is followed by a short “making-of” presentation and Q&A with film director Emily Sullivan and cinematographer Isaiah Branch-Boyle. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Greenlandic Ski Federation to support Greenlandic youth on snow.
$5 per person, museum members receive 10% off. Registration required.
6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, in the Auditorium
