Featuring over 150 works by artists including Morris Graves, Mark Tobey, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Salvador Dalí, the show reveals how local and transnational forces shaped a vibrant and distinctive artistic moment.SAM’s Ann M. Barwick Curator of American Art, Theresa Papanikolas, will lead a dynamic discussion on the inspirations, research, and stories behind the exhibition.
