Saltford Drama Club returns to the stage with a production of Noel Coward's 'Blithe Spirit' . Performances are on at Saltford Hall on Thursday 21st, Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd November 2024, starting at 7.30pm.Tickets are just £14 per person, obtainable from www.tickettailor.com/events/scaevents or Saltford PO/Library Hub. There will also be a reasonably priced licensed bar.
Noel Coward's 'Blithe Spirit' is about Charles Condomine, a writer, who is planning a novel about a homicidal spiritualist and wants to observe a supposed psychic during a séance. Despite initially thinking the seance has been a failure, it soon becomes clear that all is not well. His home and life are quickly turned into a shambles and things turn from bad to worse as his efforts to correct things go awry.
A surprising turn of events brings things to a farcical conclusion.
