Salt host a plant-based, three course supper club to bring the community together at Glengall Wharf Garden, a community space in Peckham.
About this Event

Guests are warmly welcomed to Glengall Wharf Community Garden, Peckham, for a delicious three course dinner hosted by Salt, a SE London based supper club bringing people together over delicious food.

<h4>Nourishing for mind, body and soul, and encouraging joyful connection and conversations with others from the local area, join us for an early evening meal, tour of the garden, and fireside conversations as the sun goes down.</h4>

The three course meal will be a plant-based celebration of seasonal and local produce where possible, prepared with much love and care in the garden by dear friends Emily and Alice. They met volunteering at a food bank while at university in Newcastle and formed a lasting friendship over their shared passion for addressing food insecurity and community building. They reunited in SE London and two years ago they formed Salt Supper club. The can often be found at each others houses reading recipes, pickling, fermenting, licking plates and eating condiments out of the jar.

Emily has dedicated a lot of time to community gardening having started one on the estate where she lives and is a regular volunteer at Glengall Community Garden.

Tickets are priced on a sliding scale.

A portion of tickets sales go towards keeping the garden open and at a time when funding is difficult to secure, Glengall is dependent on the support of the community to remain open. If you are no longer able to attend the event, please notify us at least 48hrs beforehand for a refund, and so we can make the space available to others. If the event is sold out, please add your details to the waiting list and you will be notified if a space becomes available.

The event will be outdoors, so please dress appropriately and bring warmer layers for the evening. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather conditions the event will be postponed, and you will be notified.
