About this Event
Dance is not about moving for the sake of moving- Dance is more than a sport, it’s a performing art & emotional release.
A typical session will begin with classical ballet technique-based exercises: tuning into your breathing, feelings, posture, awareness of your extremities etc. Then close with a lyrical ballet choreography (which we’ll add to each week), where we can (without saying a word out loud) let out any pent-up feelings & explore emotions through movement. Must also add we have a good natter & laugh too!
Attendees do not need to have done Ballet or danced before-just bring YOU & see where your heart, mind & body take you!!
Please register to attend at the latest by the Saturday evening ahead of class.
Fee: This class is about giving accessibility & mostly sharing the love of dance (as you may have guessed from the above!). But for those able to donate, there’s a suggested donation of 7-10£ , to be paid at each class. The fee is to help cover hire costs & any profit will be given to support the community.
