Get ready for summer dancing! Come and learn LA-Style Salsa with us, with a focus on technique and connection!This season, we offer the following weekly classes:
- Improvers: Mondays 20:00-21:00
- Guided Practica: Mondays 21:00-22:00
- Intermediate 1: Wednesdays 19:00-20:00
- Intermediate 2: Wednesdays 20:00-21:00
𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 ⭐𝘯𝘦𝘸⭐
This class is perfect for Salsa dancers who can comfortable dance left and right turns in Cuban salsa, or who have good experience in other partner dances. We will cover the difference between Cuban and LA-Style, practice left and right turns (LA-style), and cross-body leads. We will also do many fun variations (such as arm tosses) that are relatively easy to implement, but useful also for more experienced dancers.
𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚 ⭐𝘯𝘦𝘸⭐
The guided practica is exclusive to our students, 𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭! We will play slow to medium tempo songs with clear rhythm. Come and practice what you learned in class -- teachers will be around to give you feedback!
𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝟏
The class covers covering inside and outside turns, 360, and other intemerdiate concepts. We focus on connection and technique, making sure that followers don't predict the patterns during the class, so that we can easily apply what we learned to social dances.
𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝟐
This class builds on the material from Intermediate 1 and introduces more difficult techniques such as double turns. We learn additional combinations and put even more effort on technique and body positioning so that the combinations work effortless with faster music.
