By registering for this event and ticking the acceptance box, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

This is a 5km community run conducted on public pathways around the Panmure Basin. The course is not closed to the public.

The Organisers have taken reasonable steps to promote participant safety, including:

· Pre-event course planning and route selection

· Use of designated pace and sweep runners

· Basic first aid support

· Pre-event safety briefing and instructions

Despite these measures, participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

· Slips, trips and falls

· Uneven, wet or gravel surfaces

· Weather conditions

· Interaction with vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians

· Risks associated with physical exertion

I voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with participation.

I confirm that I am medically and physically fit to participate in a 5km run and have not been advised otherwise by a medical professional.

If I have any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or health concern that may affect my participation, I confirm that I have obtained appropriate medical advice prior to registering.

I acknowledge that:

· I participate at my own risk

· I am responsible for monitoring my own health and safety

· I will follow all event instructions and applicable road and pathway rules

· I will not participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Participants under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian.

The registering parent/guardian confirms that:

· They consent to the minor’s participation

· The minor is medically fit to participate

· The minor will be supervised at all times by a parent, guardian, or nominated responsible adult (18+)

The supervising adult accepts responsibility for the minor’s conduct and safety and agrees to this Waiver on their behalf.

The Organisers reserve the right to refuse participation to unsupervised minors.

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, I release and discharge Salomon, Rebel Sport New Zealand, Rebel Sport Panmure, Briscoe Group Limited, and their respective directors, employees, contractors, volunteers and agents (“the Organisers”) from any liability, claim, demand, or cause of action arising out of or in connection with my participation in the event.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organisers from any loss, damage, liability, or expense arising from:

· My actions or negligence

· Any breach of this agreement

· Damage to property caused by me

· My failure to follow event instructions

I consent to receiving first aid or emergency medical assistance if required during the event and accept responsibility for any associated costs.

Photography & Media

I acknowledge that photographs and video may be taken for promotional purposes by Salomon, Rebel Sport New Zealand and Briscoe Group Limited.I grant permission for my image, likeness, and voice to be used in marketing and promotional material without compensation.

If I do not wish to be photographed or filmed, I will notify the Organisers prior to the event.

Personal information collected for registration will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ) and used solely for event administration, safety management, and related communication.
