Salamanca@6 is an event series added to the Festival of Voices 2026 program, celebrating emerging and early-career singers and ensembles who are helping shape the future of Tasmanian music. At 6 pm on selected evenings during the festival, audiences are invited to the Peacock Theatre to discover fresh voices, original ideas and the next wave of local talent. It’s a welcoming space where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and artists have the chance to share new work with an audience.
By offering a range of performers the opportunity to present their work as part of Tasmania’s longest-running winter festival, Salamanca@6 supports the development of aspiring vocalists while giving audiences the chance to experience something vibrant, immediate and full of possibility.
