About this Event
Sake for Wine Lovers is an ongoing series dedicated to sake—created specifically for those who already love wine.
Each edition explores a different theme—focusing on a thema, single producer, pairing sake with dishes, collaborating with restaurants, and more.
Edition 03 — Wine Lovers' Favorite
This edition of Sake for Wine Lovers is inspired by what unexpectedly stood out at Wine Professional, the largest wine trade show in the Netherlands.
Among a wide range of sake presented to wine professionals, these styles sparked the most curiosity, questions, and conversations. Not because they were traditional—but because they felt familiar through a wine lens, while still being unmistakably sake.
The lineup moves through sake like Pet-Nat, crisp white wines, light reds, lees-aged Chardonnay, and oxidative sweet wines like Sherry or Tawny Port. Together, they show just how diverse, expressive, and surprising sake can be.
Sake Lineup (Style-Based Tasting)
