Sail into Summer! Family Singing Service

Singing, dancing and storytelling at Eliaskirken - a special church service in English for babies, toddlers and all the family
About this Event

Join us on Saturday 20 June for this special edition of our regular baby and toddler music classes. All ages are welcome - bring the whole family! As well as singing and dancing together, we will explore the story of Noah's Ark, so we also invite every child to bring along their favourite cuddly animal toy.

The service begins at 10am at Eliaskirken and is led by Maria Fihl, pastor for Folkekirken for Internationals, together with music teacher Sarah Greenhow. After the service there will be drinks, snacks and social time.

Just like our monthly Babysalmesang in English and Toddler Music Time classes, this special church service is an opportunity for you and your children to:

- Enjoy music, movement and rhythm together

- Share a playful and educational experience

- Learn songs and hymns in the beautiful church space

- Meet other local families with young children

- This time, with extra excitement as we ‘sail into’ the summer holidays!

Whether you have attended our monthly classes before or are trying it out for the very first time, everyone is welcome! It’s FREE to attend, but we ask you to book so we know how many families to expect. Just book one ticket per family.

About Sarah Greenhow:

Sarah is a British singer who trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. She is an experienced church musician and music educator, having previously taught baby and toddler classes at The Little London Music School and worked in the music team at St Martin-in-the-Fields church in London. Sarah currently sings at Vor Frelsers Kirke in Christianshavn and also teaches Babysalmesang in English at Ørestad Church and on the Church Ship in Sydhavn.
