About this Event

SACRED SERIES WEEK · VOL 5: THE REMEMBRANCE
A Sacred Gathering at Temple Mother Earth

May 20 – May 26, 2026 · Washington, DC

There is a part of you that remembers.

A part that existed before the noise, the deadlines, and the version of yourself the world rewarded you for becoming.

This week is for that part of you.

You may have arrived here tired in a way sleep does not touch. Quietly searching, without knowing for what. Carrying a grief or a longing that does not have a clear story.

Something deeper has been calling. You have postponed answering long enough.

WHAT THIS IS

Sacred Series Week is a seven-day spiritual gathering held at Temple Mother Earth, a 508(c)(1)(A) sacred church in Washington, DC.

This volume — The Remembrance — is May's dedicated arc. The month we honor lineage, memory, and the prayers that carried us here.

Across seven days, our community moves through a sequence of ceremonial offerings rooted in ancestral wisdom and the contemplative practices of our church. Each gathering opens onto the next. The flow is intentional — a slow opening, a quieting, a turning inward, a tending, a celebration.

You are not asked to perform.

You are asked, simply, to arrive.

We make no promises about what your week will hold. We prepare the space carefully and trust what arises.

THE SHAPE OF THE WEEK

Each day has a temperature.

The early days are gentle — meant to soften, to ground, to let your nervous system understand it has arrived somewhere safe.

The middle of the week opens into the deeper work — the gatherings most associated with The Remembrance, where ancestral memory, grief, and the threads of lineage are honored.

The closing days are tending and celebration — slowing what was opened, integrating what surfaced, gathering as community before returning home.

You leave the same person.

And not at all the same person.

IMPORTANT NOTES

This is an application-based gathering. Sincerity of practice and an intake conversation are part of how we hold the container with integrity.

Capacity is limited. We respond to every inquiry personally.

Plan to arrive rested and with spaciousness in your schedule before and after. Give yourself space before and after the gathering to integrate the experience.

Some preparation guidance is offering-specific and shared privately after registration. Please do not adjust any prescribed Medic*tion or medical care without consulting your provider.

Reliable transportation is essential, particularly after gatherings.

If you have read this far, something in you is already listening.

There is no urgency here, only an open door. If the timing is right, you will know.

The Temple is here either way.
