About this Event
Event Description
Many of us carry grief, rage, numbness, longing, and creative energy in isolation. This space is an invitation to move some of that - collectively - through movement, sound, instinct, mark-making, and shared presence. Together, we'll explore what it feels like to step outside the performance, productivity, and perfectionism so pervasive in our culture, and reconnect with something more raw, human, and alive.
No art or movement experience is necessary. This is not about creating polished work. It is about expression, embodiment, and community.
Come as you are.
About the Facilitator
Paula Sinisterra is an integrative psychotherapist, artist, and facilitator whose work centers on embodiment, creativity, emotional expression, and human connection. Drawing from expressive arts, movement, mindfulness, and somatic practices, she creates spaces that invite authenticity, presence, and deeper connection - to ourselves, one another, and the living world.
Paula is deeply interested in the ways grief, rage, joy, and the full range of human emotion, when given expression and movement through the body, can bring us into deeper aliveness. Influenced by both modern somatic approaches and longstanding human traditions of ritual, movement, and communal expression, her work explores how creativity, embodiment, and shared experience can help us feel more connected, alive, and fully human.
