R\u00f6rt Workshop Series - Big Mind: Embracing all of You

Join this workshop series, and get to know yourself a little better while connecting with others in the Rört community:
The Big Mind process is a collective mode of self-inquiry originated in Zen, that invites you to function more freely in life. The workshop takes place as a structured dialogue between the group and the facilitator giving voice to aspects of our inner world that are not yet fully awakened. Each session will explore one or more voices and include short meditation or movement breaks to deepen the work. A chance to come together, connect and embrace a little more of what we are.
The Big Mind process can be helpful if you:
• Have trouble adjusting to major life changes
• Feel “run by” old patterns
• Experience internal struggle or self-criticism
• Feel stuck in life
• Long to belong
• Want to deepen a spiritual practice
On Wednesday Jan 19th, there will be a Big Mind Rört Special, which serves as an introduction to this workshop series, though you do not need to attend that in order to join one of these sessions. See info about the special on www.rort.dk/schedule/
PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
No experience is required to join.
You can join one or more sessions regardless of not having attended the first sessions.
If you have a trauma history, a history of mental illness or if you are currently going through acute life crisis, you are very welcome to email facilitator Birgitte Gorm ([email protected]) before your first session in order to ensure you will be well-supported during the Big Mind workshops.
ABOUT BIG MIND
The Big Mind process is invented and developed by Zen teacher Genpo Roshi. It integrates the wisdom of eastern spiritual traditions with relational perspectives from western psychotherapy. The facilitation allows the group to explore aspects of the self that can hinder free functioning in life when they are buried or disowned. By speaking in the first person as a “voice” rather than speaking as the self, the process allows you to externalize from your habitual frame of mind and connect to new inner resources and perspectives
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Birgitte Gorm is a psychologist (PhD) and a yoga and meditation teacher. She started practicing meditation and yoga in the mid-1990íes and have been teaching for over 20 years. She is one of the few people in Denmark who offers workshops using the Big Mind process and her main area of expertise is working with people in leadership positions such as teachers, managers and thought leaders.
