About this Event
You’ve probably seen Rope Dart and felt curious about it.
It moves fast. It wraps around the body. It looks technical.
What most people don’t realize is that Rope Dart is learned in pieces. You focus on how the leash connects to the wrist through 'tethering'. You learn where the rope sits on your torso for a 'wrap'. You start to understand how the weight travels from a 'knee shot', and then how to guide it into its connecting move.
When you slow it down and build it step by step, it starts to click.
In this workshop, Nate, aka “Ni3” and Ninja Nate, will guide you through the foundations in a way that feels structured and clear. You’ll work through body wraps, transitions, and the mechanics that help the prop feel intentional in your hands.
Nate has been training Rope Dart since 2013. What began as personal curiosity evolved into years of focused practice, experimentation, and eventually teaching through Rope Dart Academy. He brings technical depth and lived experience into the room.
This is a space to gather, learn, and build skills. An educational environment centered on focused and shared learning.
Beginner & Intermediate friendly, however, we ask that participants arrive with a basic understanding of Rope Dart terminology and movement.
Please review a few beginner Rope Dart tutorials on YouTube before class, and visit Nate’s website and Instagram to familiarize yourself with his style. This helps ensure we begin on the same page and can make the most of our time together.
The last 40 minutes of the class will be focused on intermediate to advanced rope dart technique.
