About this Event
Join us for a nurturing day designed for charity and community group leaders and their teams, who give so much of their energy supporting others. This calm, restorative session offers practical ways to support your own wellbeing, including learning about nature’s herbs and experiencing sound and vibration to help you relax, reset, and start the new year feeling more balanced.
The event will take place in the Chelsea Theatre’s Terrace Bar, a welcoming and light-filled space with views over the surrounding area, offering a comfortable setting away from day-to-day pressures.
Funded by Sport England and supported by The National Lottery.
What to expect on the day:
- Workshop: Herbs and teas for physical & emotional support in winter - with Cherrelle Douglas of Omolara Herbal: In this cosy and relaxed workshop, we'll explore herbs that can nurture us physically and emotionally through the winter months and learn about their medicinal profiles, how to prepare them, and how we can incorporate them into our day. We'll discuss nature's cycles and the importance of slowing down at this time, holistic ways we can support ourselves through a calendar-year reset, and, together, set some small intentions for what we can do going forward. The workshop will be interactive with meditative tea tasting and a space for mutual learning. Participants will be encouraged to share their knowledge and experience.
- A soothing gong sound bath and sharing circle with guided reflective journaling -with Jaha Browne: A deeply relaxing session that uses sound and gentle vibration to support rest and recovery. Participants will experience calming tones with gong sounds, which are felt throughout the body and can help release tension, settle the nervous system, and promote a sense of balance and calm. This is a restorative experience designed to help you feel more grounded and refreshed, giving space for reflection and setting intentions.
- Light snacks and refreshments provided
- On-site cafe also available
Spaces are limited to keep the atmosphere intimate, so early booking is recommended
