About this Event

Rooted in Justice & Joy

Join us in person for Rooted in Justice & Joy: Finding Healing and Community After Pregnancy Loss, Fertility Challenges, and Birth Trauma.

Black Maternal Health Week calls us to confront inequities. But it also invites us to imagine something more.

  • What does healing look like after birth trauma?
  • How do we rebuild community after unexpected outcomes?
  • Where does justice meet joy in our recovery?

Join Sisters in Loss for an intentional and community-centered evening during Black Maternal Health Week as we gather in conversation around birth trauma, maternal mental health, and creating sacred community spaces for healing.

This year’s theme — Rooted in Justice and Joy — centers both the systemic realities Black women face in maternal healthcare and the radical power of healing together.

This is not just a panel. It is a space to exhale.

To be seen. To connect. To reimagine what support can look like after difficult birth experiences.
