Starring Adam Sherkin, pianist and actor
In ROOM OF KEYS, David James Brock adapts Bela Bartok’s opera, Bluebeard’s Castle with music from Bartok and original compositions by Adam Sherkin. The play explores a man discovering his father’s secret and abandoned music shop. Once there, their shared history unravels through seven memories and instruments – from a child's toy to a Bösendorfer Grand – where the music is not always beautiful.
