I am so excited to announce our next romantasy book pop-up event in London, which will be open even longer this time!!

This event will have even more exciting books, + some new bookish goodies from small businesses from around the world! These monthly events are to fundraise to open a permanent brick-and-mortar shop in Oxford for Bad Girl Books: the UK's FIRST Romantasy-Only Bookshop! Friday 10 Oct, Saturday 11 Oct, Sunday 12 Oct

10:30am - 5pm

9:30am - 10:30am private shopping for those with sensory needs and autism who want to shop in a quiet environment with no music and no crowds. You are also welcome to come on a weekday the following week (except Monday) where it should be much quieter.

Tuesday 14 Oct, - Friday 17 Oct

12pm - 7pm
Saturday 18 - Sunday 19 Oct

10:30am - 5pm

Because we will now be open for one whole week, on weekdays we will be offering "later shopping": opening at 12pm and closing at 7pm if you wanted to come by on your lunch break or after work. The shop will likely be quieter in the weekdays so you do not need to book a ticket on the weekdays.

If you would like to come the very Friday, or on a Saturday or Sunday, please do book a time slot to help manage the flow of traffic in case there is a queue 🥰
For those of you who don't know me - hi! My name is Starlin and I want to make a place where romantasy reading is celebrated and spicy reading is encouraged. I've often felt embarassed asking booksellers in shops for recommendations, and have felt judged for the books I love most. But reading should be about having fun, and enjoying books that make you happy (and ocassionally rip your heart out and make you ugly cry). I have personally found the Romantasy genre so empowering and so fun, and I can literally yap about my favourite books all day long. I would love to bring the romantasy community together, have the opportunity to meet like minded people and make new friends, and talk about our favourite characters and favourite series together! And of course shop the cutest merch and support small businesses across the UK at the same time :)

I hope that these pop-ups gives you all a small glimpse into what our permanent shop could look like, featuring books from your favourite Romantasy authors, special editions with sprayed edges, and LOTS of bookish merch from small businesses across the UK!

I've updated the time slots from the last event so it's now hourly, and will mean the flow of people is hopefully more even!

This event is on the ground floor and is fully accessible! Anyone with a physical disability who finds it difficult to queue, you can skip the queue! Just come straight to the front and you'll be let in.
