The Miami Beach Rock Ensemble returns to the Bandshell on Friday, January 9th, 2026, for its 54th Anniversary Concert — a tribute to legendary teacher and rock and roll pioneer Doug Burris.Since 1972, the Miami Beach Rock Ensemble has been a force in Miami’s music scene, blending raw energy, killer musicianship, and a one-of-a-kind community legacy. Year after year, the band brings together generations of performers and some of Miami’s most exciting acts for a night that feels more like a rock festival than a concert.
This year’s anniversary show is stacked with powerful performances from the Miami Beach Rock Ensemble, alumni, and special guests including Vvihelm, Vivid, (Re)Vival and Mark Malend.
