In this edition of Robin Invites the trio of Kevin van den Elzen is coming to the drumschool. Kevin and me studied together at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and after he continued his career in LA. He visits the homeland from time to time and on January 11th he will play a concert with his trio at the drumschool. Kevin van den Elzen is a drummer and bandleader who has been living and performing in Los Angeles for nearly 10 years. He has played with artists such as Bob Mintzer, Dick Oatts, John Clayton, Josh Nelson, and many others. He will give a small glimpse into the repertoire of WCJH and Los Angeles, joined by Koen Schalkwijk on piano and Zack Lober on double bass.
