About this Event
SVOI invites you to celebrate one of the oldest parties in Eastern Europe - Malanka Carnival!

This is a time when the Ukrainian art & music community connects with Dutch activists to create an authentic cultural experience together.
Malanka is an ancient Ukrainian folk holiday combining christian and pagan traditions, celebrated on January 13-14.
Our program will consist of various cultural activities combining traditions and modern culture:
✨Traditional: Ukrainian Choir will sing Christmas and New Year Carols;
✨Modern: following the cultural performance will be followed my modern DJ set by DJ Simon Cross from Rasom.Haarlem.
✨You will be able to buy some souvenirs and support Ukrainian makers by visiting Ukrainian market and have master classes on some ukrainian crafts.
✨Natural wine tasting;
✨Of course, we did not forget about food - you will be warmed by extensive menu of Ukrainian traditional dishes
