About this Event
Meet us at the entrace as we'll begin by performing maintenance on a bioretention in the surrounding area. There will be light refreshments and native plant seeds for participants. DOEE staff will provide all supplies including gloves and tools. Please wear sturdy close-toed shoes, a water bottle, a snack or two, and a positive attitude.
Participants will:
- Learn about the importance of bioretentions in our communities and watersheds;
- Learn how to perform beautifying maintenance on rain gardens in your neighborhood; and
- Make a difference by contributing to the upkeep of natural areas in your neighborhood.
