RITUAL RESIST Performance

As part of the opening of our new show Tender Fury, Kendell Geers will present live performances of RITUAL RESIST at 4:00 PM & 5:00 PM. In this piece, two performers—a man and a woman—must keep a square mirror suspended between their bodies, using only balance and bodily pressure. If either loses focus, the mirror falls and shatters. As the performers move, the mirror reflects the audience too, drawing viewers into a shared act of tension, trust, and perception. Geers describes it as a “ritual of endurance,” a poetic reflection on how we see and hold each other in uncertain times. No cameras are allowed during the performance, they will be taped off, and we kindly ask you to please arrive 15 minutes before the performance starts.
