Feel freedom in your body and connect to the spiritual power of dance!
Rising Soul Dance is a guided dance & embodiment practice led by Laura Cherry set to eclectic, soul lifting music that takes you on an expressive journey of freedom.
Connect to your body, explore your authentic movement, boost confidence and creativity. With visualisation inspired by nature, elements, animals and textures, you'll be guided to move your body in new ways, expand your imagination and learn how to locate and transform stagnant energy. We finish in deep relaxation accompanies by celestial sounds followed by the option to stay, connect & network with like minded creatives.

WHERE: St Marks Church, St Mark's Square, London NW1 7TN (nearest tube Camden Town approx 10 min walk)
TIME: 7:30 - 9:00pm
Please arrive no later than 7:20pm as we will start on time. The church door will be closed at 7:30pm.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Any creative person & music lover who wants to connect with their true self through dance. You don't need to be a dancer or have any previous movement experience to attend. The way each of us moves us unique and its something that is celebrated at Rising Soul Dance. You will leave feeling empowered, free and vibrant!

WHAT TO BRING & WEAR
Please bring water, a diary or journal & pen.
Wear something you can move in freely. Dressing in garments that inspire you is encouraged, think bright colours, textures etc! Or simply be comfortable and free.
Refund Policy: Please note there are no refunds for this event. If you can no longer attend, suggestion to sell your ticket onto someone else who might enjoy the class.

ABOUT LAURA
Laura is a London based dance & embodiment facilitator, teacher and performer with over 10 years experience working in the creative arts. Laura co-founded The Meyer Dancers - a vintage Go-Go Dance Company in 2010, and has performed and taught 60s and 70s dance extensively in the UK and Europe with the company.
From producing events, to choreographing and leading festival sessions at Isle of Wight, Samsung Kx, Jimi Hendrix Museum, Lovebox, Latitude, Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Laura has a deep passion for creative expression and helping people express their true self through dance.
Rising Soul Dance was created by Laura after her own healing journey. Laura believes strongly in the power of embodied dance after her lived experience of illness to health which led her into holistic studies and a journey of 'dancing from within'. Her vision is to inspire people to reconnect with their body, feel closer to nature and facilitate healing journeys with movement so people can feel empowered & free.
Laura describes herself as a die-hard music lover, and has a huge passion for style inspired through the lens of a 1960’s/1970’s aesthetic.
