The first Ride Like a Girl workshop of 2026 is a classroom workshop introduction to bike camping: What is Bike Camping? What do I need to go camping by bicycle? Can I do this?
The workshop aims to build knowledge and confidence among women, trans, femme, and non-binary folks who want to learn about bike camping from participants of past Ride Like a Girl trips. Beginners as well as those wanting to connect are welcome. Participants under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

RiDe LiKE A GiRL (RLAG) is a project sponsored by Walk Oakland Bike Oakland. RLAG is returning for its fifth year of offering bicycling skills workshop designed for every woman who wants to go bike camping. Our goal is getting more women comfortable and confident on their bicycles, and feeling more connected with a community of women who want to bike!
