About this Event
Join us for our second Rewilding Rangers session of the summer, where we'll be learning all about the deer of Denmarkfield - and beyond! We will be exploring the rewilding project to try to catch a glimpse of the resident deer, plus games and making your own deer art from natural pigments!
The session is aimed at primary school aged children aged 5 to 11. A parent/ carer must stay throughout the whole session.
Please note that parking is only available at the Luncarty Memorial Hall (15-20 minute walk). A member of staff will be at the Hall at 9.30am to walk with you to Denmarkfield. If this walk would be an issue for you or your family, please get in touch ([email protected]) so we can discuss alternative access options. There is bicycle parking available at the allotment and you are more than welcome to cycle and meet us at the allotment.
The session is free but there is a suggested donation of £3 per child, which can be purchased as an add-on All donations go towards the work of our small charity, including running educational sessions like this one.
Hot chocolate and a biscuit will be provided. Sturdy footwear or wellies and waterproofs are recommended, as well as suncream to prepare for all kinds of Scottish weather!
Limited spaces - book your ticket today!
