Reverie is a poignant dance production by Dance Theatre of Orlando, reimagining the timeless world of Alice in Wonderland through the eyes of an older Alice.Years after Alice's extraordinary adventures, she reflects on the whimsical friends she once knew—the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, and others—who now exist only in fading memories. Through expressive movement and choreography, Reverie explores the bittersweet truth of growing up: cherished connections naturally drift and dissolve over time as life pulls us forward into new chapters.In this fantasy, Alice lingers in wonder, mourning the loss while celebrating the magic those friendships once held.
