About this Event
Join RSI for an executive forum dedicated to navigating housing uncertainty and scaling resilient solutions. As an impartial non-profit, we apply intelligent imagination to bridge the gap between national housing targets and on-the-ground implementation. This session moves beyond traditional subsidies to explore market-aligned pathways for accelerating housing starts, reducing emissions, and ensuring long-term rental affordability. We will examine practical frameworks for unlocking trapped real estate, including RSI’s Rethink 4 Walls (R4W) office conversion initiative and the Affordable UPREIT model—evidence-based tools that fund subsidies through asset performance rather than taxpayer support. This is a collaborative sandbox for developers, financiers, and municipal leaders to solve real-world problems. We invite you to bring a specific project hurdle or direct ask to the table for collective analysis. By combining science with pragmatism, this forum provides the strike-team insights necessary to mobilize the next generation of housing across Ontario and Canada.
