About this Event
This in an in-person event, and is a collaboration between the Linnean Society and the Wild Britain Forum.
For more than two centuries, the Linnean Society has shaped Britain’s understanding of the natural world. In 2026, it will again become the crucible of a national conversation — this time not about cataloguing nature, but restoring it.
'Wild Britain 2026: The Linnean Assembly' invites scientists, landowners, policymakers, financiers, cultural leaders, and citizens to translate knowledge into action and define the foundations of a new natural history for the United Kingdom.
Join us for a day of though-provoking dialogue, and an opportunity to shape future conversations about restoring nature.
“Britain once discovered nature; now it must learn to live within it.”
