The cacao is pure ceremonial vegan grade with the essence of seasonal herbs and spices, this is teamed with restorative yoga (Yoga rest)and a soothing combination of wonderful instruments in the sound bath meditation.
This will be held monthly and suitable for all (Apart from those in their first trimester of pregnancy)
A cacao ceremony is a spiritual ritual involving drinking ceremonial-grade, minimally processed cacao (like a rich, thick hot chocolate) in a group or solo setting to foster heart-opening, healing, and intention-setting through meditation, chanting, breathwork, or dance, connecting participants to themselves, nature, and community, rooted in ancient Mayan and Aztec traditions for divine connection and self-discovery. Participants drink the warm elixir, often in a circle, to release emotions, gain clarity, and experience heightened feelings of euphoria, love, and connection, guided by the plant's properties, like theobromine, which promotes warmth and energy without the jitters of coffee.What Happens in a Ceremony?
- Intention Setting: Participants focus on a goal, wish, or emotion they want to explore or release.
- Preparation: Ceremonial cacao (crushed beans) is melted with hot water, sometimes milk, and a sweetener like honey, then prepared with reverence, often with music or chanting.
- Drinking Ritual: The warm drink is consumed slowly, often in a circle, acknowledging the plant and the experience.
- Activities: Guided by facilitators, ceremonies may include meditation, journaling, breathwork, singing, dancing, or sharing heartfelt insights.
- Closing: The ritual concludes with gratitude, a final prayer, or silence, grounding participants.
PLEASE NOTE:
Those in their first trimester of pregnancy cannot participate in sound therapy. However we can offer you both the cacao and a pregnancy safe practice in restorative yoga.
