24 Hours REQUIRED Responsible Broker Credit

This Responsible Broker course provides required broker-level training covering leadership, considerations when starting a brokerage, and South Dakota License Law.

Completion of this course, along with two years of active experience, allows a Broker Associate licensee to request a Broker license.

A final test will be accessed online at the conclusion of the course.

The 24-hour course includes the following components:

• Real Estate Business Planning for Brokers and Teams
  (Can also be taken as 4 hours elective CE — Day One)
• Policies, Procedures, Ethics, and HR
  (Can also be taken as 4 hours required CE — Day One)
• Broker Supervision
  (Can also be taken as 4 hours required CE — Day Two)
• Risk Management
  (Can also be taken as 4 hours required CE — Day Two)
• A2A Property Management Laws: From Agency to Audits
  (Can also be taken as 3 hours required CE — Day Three)
  Note: Previously titled “SD Law for Property Managers”
• Best Practices, Review, and Final Testing
  (Final 5 hours of Responsible Broker)

Zoom attendees must meet all attendance requirements to receive credit:

• Must be present for all class hours
• Must be visible on camera at all times
• Must have microphone access
• Must have reliable high-speed internet

⚠️ If you cannot be seen on camera during all sessions, renewal credit may not be granted.

Transfer Policy
Transfers are allowed up to two days before class begins.
If transferring to a class of equal or greater value, the price difference will be charged.

Refund Policy
Refunds are available until one day before class begins.
Refunds will be less Eventbrite and credit card processing fees paid at purchase.
