Hear ye, hear ye! Join us to experience magic and merriment at the 6th annual Brown County Library Renaissance Faire. Step back in time for a mix of history, fantasy, and arts.Gaze upon demonstrations of blacksmithing, weaving, or pottery making. Behold sword fighting and try thy hand at battle with foam weapons. Learn how birds of prey were used for hunting and meet the birds after the presentation. Enjoy music performed by local harp and recorder musicians. Interact with reenactors from medieval and Renaissance eras.
Be amazed at the show of magic. Bring thy children for a scavenger hunt and crafts. Have thy face painted or fortune told, then partake of lunch from one of the food trucks. Visit the vendor booths to find the perfect memento of thy day. Revel in all this and more!
Period attire is encouraged for all, but please surrender your weapons before entering upon library grounds. All ages.
As the date of the event draws near, keep watch as additional information shall be posted within this Facebook event.
