Symposium: To celebrate Professor Wong’s journey of scientific achievements, we have gathered esteemed professionals and academics for a symposium to explore the latest advancements in Ph*rm*cy and healthcare research before the inaugural lecture. This symposium features a series of presentations from notable experts, Mr David Webb, Chief Pharmaceutical Officer, Dr Lisa Cotterill, Chief Executive of the NIHR Academy, and Dr Joan Marsh, Editor-in-Chief of The Lancet Psychiatry, discussions on big data, research capacity, and publishing excellence, and a networking session. We look forward to insightful discussions and fostering collaboration among participants.

Lecture: Professor Wong is a distinguished academic pharmacist with extensive leadership and research expertise. His inaugural lecture, titled ‘Celebrating 30 Years of Psycho-pharmacoepidemiology - From Paper Charts to Big Data and beyond,’ will provide a unique perspective on his research in mental health and psycho-pharmacoepidemiology. He will highlight the significant advancements in pharmacoepidemiology, the role of big data in enhancing research capabilities in mental health, and the future challenges and opportunities in these domains.
