🎣 REEL MOMENTS: Family Fishing Experiences

Southwest DeKalb Parks | Ongoing Series

Program Overview

Reel Moments: Family Fishing Experiences is an inaugural, community-rooted series inspired by what Southwest DeKalb residents have consistently shown through their presence—fishing as a shared, meaningful way to connect with nature and one another.

This ongoing series brings together conservation partners, naturalists, and community members to create welcoming, beginner-friendly fishing experiences where participants can cast, learn, and enjoy time along the water’s edge.

Each gathering offers a relaxed environment with guidance available, making space for both first-time anglers and those already familiar with the rhythm of fishing.
