VENUE for this Song Club is Carlton Heritage and Learning Centre, G40 1AG.Join us to sing a few songs and a cup of tea. We will be practicing songs and discussing support for upcoming strikes, Palestine solidarity actions, as well as future Song Club activities.
Bring about 10 copies of any song you would like to share on the night or send it a couple of days before for us to print.
No musical or singing experience required. Bring an instrument if you play one.
No fixed fee to attend. Suggested donation £3 or so, but pay what you can afford. We can assist with fares if you would be unable to attend otherwise.
Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, disableism, and bigotry of all kinds will not be tolerated and will be challenged.
COVID - we have agreed the following arrangements to reduce the risks. They can be discussed further in future.
1. Take a lateral flow test and / or stay away if you have even mild symptoms or may be a close contact
2. Open doors for ventilation
3. Use hand sanitiser and wipes provided on arrival and as required
4. Consider wearing a face covering (unless exempt) except when singing, eating or drinking
5. 1m distancing
6. Avoid facing others when singing.
