Registration for this session, taking place at the Philadelphia Kroc Center, is now open - https://forms.office.com/r/3m0xDFZN1QWe will be looking at the music of composer, Martin Cordner, who will be our guest leader for the occasion. With almost 100 pieces published in the Salvation Army alone, and so many favorites amongst them, we will be selecting the program based on participant suggestions. What is Reading Band?
- A time of ministry through Brass Band Music, in an informal setting, reading through and studying music from the greats. You can expect an in-depth rehearsal of some incredible music, with time for devotion and fellowship together - we will conclude with a "performance" of all the pieces
Who is this for?
- Anyone who would like to join us. If you play (or used to play) a Brass Band instrument, we will have a place for you in the Reading Band. The music can be challenging, but we all are welcome to participate.
- If you play a non-traditional Brass Band instrument, but would like to join us, please be in touch and we will try to accommodate
- We do have instruments available for individuals to borrow, on a first-come first-served basis - please be in touch
