Join Keep Akron Beautiful and Akron author Dina Younis for the kickoff of Read for a Greener Akron, a free summer reading and sustainability challenge for families.At this free, family-friendly event, children and caregivers will enjoy a live reading of S is for Secondhand (SisForSecondhand.com), hands-on activities, and receive their official challenge passport to complete throughout the summer.
Over the next six weeks (May - July), families can complete simple activities like reading, reusing, donating, planting, and helping keep Akron clean. Completed passports earn a prize and entry into our grand prize raffle basket.

10:30 - Welcome
10:45-11:15 - Story reading
11:15- 12:30 - Crafts, My Greener Akron Passport pickup, visit with vendors like Tansy Recycling and more!
